GENESI DI UN LOGO

The Selby (uno dei siti alla moda che fingo di non seguire ma in realtà seguo religiosamente) ha pubblicato un set di foto scattate durante una visita agli archivi privati di Jeanne Lanvin , e alcune immagini in particolare hanno attirato la mia attenzione.

Premetto che non sono assolutamente una fan dei loghi, che evito come la peste o almeno ci provo. Ce ne sono alcuni che però riescono a piacermi, per l'aspetto grafico o per la storia che hanno alle spalle, come quello di Lanvin, che mi ha sempre affascinata:



Si tratta dell'immagine stilizzata di Jeanne Lanvin e sua figlia, da una foto del 1907:





Lo trovo un logo dolcissimo, oltre che molto bello graficamente e squisitamente retrò, lontano anni luce dalla mia concezione di marchio.

Mentre navigavo in modalità random e abbastanza passiva, ho scoperto il meraviglioso blog della designer di accessori Clare Vivier : una finestra sul dietro le quinte delle sue collezioni che mi ha istantaneamente ridato le energie (che ho perso completamente, complice la lentezza dei ritmi in questi giorni di vacanza).




E' tutto un fare, costruire, provare, misurare, e, ultimamente, preparare e spedire gli ordini di Natale. Tutto dalla soleggiata Los Angeles, che in questo periodo di meteo schizofrenico e influenza in agguato sembra un sogno.
